Motortronics was founded in 1983 as an outgrowth of our original company, Vectrol, one of the first manufacturers of solid state motor control. Since then we have shipped over 500,000 solid state starters and controllers to virtually all industries around the world, amassing more real world experience than any other manufacturer. Products are sold under our own Motortronics brand name, as well as through key partners within the electrical industry. Low Voltage partners include ABB, Toshiba and Danaher/Joslyn Clark. As one of the few manufacturers of Medium Voltage Solid State Starters and Controllers, our products are being sold as part of an integrated package offering by ABB, General Electric and Toshiba and Siemens. Prior to Motortronics acquiring the medium voltage product from Patriot, this product line was sold under Magnetek, Siemens, Louis-Allis, Allen-Bradley, Patriot Controls and Power Controls Corp. brand names. Motortronics headquarters and main factory are insunny Clearwater, Florida. With over 200 employees, we have become one of the largest suppliers of solid state power controls in the North America. In addition to motor control, our Phasetronics high precision SCR Power Controls are designed and produced for the heating, power conversion and semiconductor manufacturing industries. Our new 40,000-sq.ft. production facilityis in St. Kitts provides contract manufacturing for other industries as well. General Motors, Applied Materials, Harley Davidson, and AT&T are among the many companies who use our capabilities, all of which demand a high degree of manufacturing excellence and quality control.
